Current Goal

My mission is to return to my homeland of Australia, and get many pictures of my travels, but I especially want to get pictures of my visit to Australia. After I enjoy some time traveling throughout Australia, I would like to return back to the Cary, NC area to see my owner again.

We are so happy to hear that Jarrah made it back home! Wow, 6 years of seeing the world and then to return safe and sound back in N. Carolina....that's amazing!!! We had the pleasure of Jarrahs company for a while last year. Hope he has another amazing adventure if you decide to re-release him again. Congrats on your TB "happily ever after" story!

Jarrah has made it home! It's hard to believe that this little guy made it almost 50000 miles, and then returned back to his owner 6.5 years after leaving home. Thanks to all the people that moved him on his journeys, took pictures, took great care of him, and then got him home.

We set out 4 travel bugs at the same time, each with different goals. This guy's goal required the farthest travel, and he was the one we least expected to see again, but he made it anyway. The other 3 did not fare so well. One was lost in 3 months, one in 10 months, and one lasted 4.5 years, but all of those seem to be missing now.

After a short stay at home, we're going to send him out again, just have decided where to send him yet. Hopefully he'll accomplish his goals again.

Jarrah is now just a bit south of Cary.

I had wanted to go further north, but had a client call from southern SC and could not spare the time today. If it's still here when I return to the area in a few weeks, I'll try to move it further then. Otherwise, I hope someone heading to Cary will take it the rest of the way.

Wow! What a rare treat to find a trackable that is this close to succeeding in its RTW journey!

(Several years ago, I picked up a trackable from a hotel near LAX that was returning to San Francisco from Europe and didn't realize this until I was already back on the East Coast. Another cacher picked it up and took it to Europe where it wandered around for a few years, then returned to New York and immediately disappeared, never to be seen again.)

I'm heading to Sanford tomorrow and may make it to Cary, but if not, I'll leave it near Sanford.

Took Jarrah, along with another TB, to Dillon Motor Speedway (South Carolina) then dropped him off in Rowland NC. Back in his home state after a very long trip!

Retrieved this cute guy this morning ๐Ÿ™‚. Been in touch with the owner to see if he has a preference for Jarrah's next stop somewhere between Columbia SC and Cary NC. If not, I'll probably bring him to Dillon SC or Rowland NC in 2 weeks.
