DON'T KEEP ME! MOVE ME! In celebration of Minnesota's 150th year of statehood we would like this coin to travel to the other 50 states and also Germany & Norway.
We obtained this button at a Minnesota Sesquicentennial (150th) celebration event held in 2008. Minnesota became a state in 1858 and the Minnstars family has ancestors on both sides who were territorial residents before Minnesota became a state. These ancestors came from both Germany & Norway and braved the hardships of the Minnesota frontier to make it into the state we are proud to still live in today.
