Dear owner and fellow geo cachers, I sincerely apologize for not releasing this geo coin back into the wild sooner. Honestly, it was long forgot in my night stand drawer. Please, allow me to explain. First, the coin is safe and has a destination set. A few years ago, I planned on traveling with this coin up to Arlington, VA., on a soldier's pilgrimage. I have a couple of my old Army medals that I wanted to place at the cemetery there and I thought it suiting to carry this coin with me, to pay homage to that life and this side of life and all the blessed adventures in-between. The covid lockdown happened and our lives were turned every which way but right side up. Well the day has come. Next Monday, November 18th 2024, at 1111 hours, I'll place the coin at the Dark Star geo cache in Arlington. I look forward to this journey and if a fellow adventurer would like to meet me there, I would proudly exchange the coin with a firm hand shake, just like we did back then. Again, my heartfelt apologies. I'm just thankful that I happened across it when I did. Hopefully I'll see someone there to receive it. Look for a man, with a dog wearing a red harness.
