Diese Coin möchte nach Orcas Island im Bundesstaat Washington in den USA reisen. Orcas Island ist eine der Inseln im Archipel der San Juan Islands in der Nähe der Grenze zu Kanada. Die Coin möchte dort ins Rosario Resort (1400 Rosario Road, Eastsound, WA 98245) gebracht werden und zusammen mit dem dort als Pianist arbeitenden Christopher Peacock fotografiert werden. (Wenn Du magst, bitte ihn, "A Gift from the Sea" für Dich zu spielen. Er ist wirklich brilliant.) Sobald dieses Ziel erreicht ist, möchte die Coin zurück in ihre Heimatstadt Bremen / Deutschland reisen, wo der Besitzer sie wieder in Empfang nehmen möchte. Über jedes Foto, das die Coin auf ihrer Reise zeigt, würde der Besitzer sich freuen.

This coin would like to travel to Orcas Island in Washington State / USA. Orcas Island is one of the islands in the San Juan Islands Archipelago near the Canadian border. Once arrived, the coin would like to be taken to the Rosario Resort (1400 Rosario Road, Eastsound, WA 98245) and would like to be photographed together with Christopher Peacock, who is working as a pianist within the resort. (Ask him to play "A Gift from the Sea" for you, if you like. He's really brilliant.) After achieving that goal, the coin would like to travel back to its home town Bremen / Germany, where the owner wants to receive it back. The owner would also enjoy every photo of the coin during its journey.

Diese Coin zeigt die "Bremer Stadtmusikanten", die durch das Märchen der Gebrüder Grimm aus dem Jahre 1819 berühmt wurden. Das Märchen erzählt die Geschichte eines Esels, eines Hundes, einer Katze und eines Hahns während ihrer abenteuerlichen Reise nach Bremen. Eine bekannte Bronzestatue der "Bremer Stadtmusikanten" wurde 1953 von Gerhard Marcks geschaffen und kann im Stadtzentrum von Bremen direkt neben dem Rathaus besichtigt werden.

This coin shows the "Bremen Town Musicians", who became famous through the folktale of the Brothers Grimm in 1819. The folktale tells the story of a donkey, a dog, a cat and a rooster during their adventurous journey to Bremen. A well-known bronze statue of the "Bremen Town Musicians" was created in 1953 by Gerhard Marcks and can be visited in the town center of Bremen directly beside the Town Hall.

Since one an a half year now TeamOintment! is keeping this coin and doesn't seem to be willing to release the coin into the next cache. Because of this theft I now declare this trackable as "lost". Sorry guys, but geocaching isn't fun, if people like this participate in it.

Seit eineinhalb Jahren ist diese Coin im Besitz von TeamOintment!, und sie sind offensichtlich nicht gewillt, die Coin im nächsten Cache zu platzieren. Wegen dieses Diebstahls erkläre ich diesen Trackable jetzt als "verloren". Es tut mir wirklich leid, das sagen zu müssen, aber Geocaching macht keinen Spaß, wenn solche Leute daran teilnehmen.

This write note goes to TeamOintment!, who is keeping the goin for nearly one year now:

You wrote, you would take it to Washington in a bit. I think, eleven months are definitely NOT "a bit".

I sent you an e-mail, and you didn't answer. What else should I do to convince you, that you should carry the coin to the next cache NOW?

Please release the coin ASAP, your behavior is not fair.

We did add a note that the coin wanted to go to Washington State when we dropped it in Florida. I don't remember there being any other note with the coin, although I might be mistaken.

We knew we were headed stateside in May and that there would be a TB hotel near our villa, so we thought we'd give this coin a lift over the pond. However, we couldn't believe it when the coin subsequently flew from Orlando straight to Seattle! Thanks to Kascan and Nymns for making that huge jump possible.

We hope the coin gets back from California to Washington State real soon.

I would like to remind all cachers, that the first goal for this coin is NOT achieved yet.

The coin should travel to Orcas Island / Washington. It already had arrived in Seattle (Thanks to Nymns for the One-Day-Trip), and was just about 70 miles away from its destination.

So why the hell did you pick up the coin and brought it to California, Griffo? I wish you would have read the description and the current goal of the coin.

Otherwise: maybe the printed description, that came with the coin, is missing because someone took it out.
If so, could one friendly cacher please print out a new description, include it to the coin's plastic case, and bring the coin on its way back to Washington please?

I will post a write note here, if the first goal will be achieved, and then I will also edit the main description, so that the coin can travel back to Germany after that.

Thanks to all the helping hands, that took care of the coin within the last year!
