About This Item

Our first Travel Bug, Backpack Bear, disappeared a year ago from the first cache we placed him in, never to be seen again. He's been resurrected and now travels under the name "My Favorite Caches".

We'd like to have My Favorite Caches visit all those cool places Backpack Bear missed seeing. Pictures from these caches or yourselves are the most fun!

Just retrieve him from the cache he's in by using his tag #312730 and placing him in one of your favorite caches by posting a note to the cache page (you can delete the note afterwards). Please include this travel bug name and number with your log.

These caches might be the most scenic you've visited, most difficult you've attempted, or just plain fun because of the people you were with.

The goal is not to rack up a gazillion miles by placing it in caches around the world. We'd genuinely like to see your favorite caches and to hear of the good times you had finding them.

    Picked up from one of my favourite caches (one of mine that I feel is quite creative) to drop in one that inspired me. That cache is in the open, but was disguised to look like something official and is locked so both cachers and muggles don't pay attention to it. Both these caches are in Vernon, B.C. Canada.

    My favourite cache would be one in a small park. It is in a unique location - one not usually found. There is a creek running through this park and work has been done to ensure salmon can spawn in the area. Pictures are available at the cache "Coldstream's Hideaway #2".
