I'm old enough to remember when anything by The Drifters was cool. As a young DJ at WBUG in Ridgeland, SC, I played their songs as Golden Oldies. In 1969, my senior year, I arranged for an R&B group out of Jacksonville (The Soulsters) to play at our Senior Prom and the event was a smash hit. Our high school was integrated by then and everyone had a great time! As I recall, this was one of the covers they played.
Hint was not necessary, but the memories of those golden, hopeful years were rekindled, despite the acrimonious, divisive political rhetoric I've encountered in recent years. Reminds me of the Jethro Tull song, "Living in the Past."
I left a nice camera case I found near a Geocache in Pooler several years ago. The cache I found was too small for it to fit and it was too far to be certain a Geocacher lost it.
