Another bluey. By now, I was getting honest with my logs.

First cache in this park. A nice one that marked the end of my first month cache.

About 60 caches in about 2800 miles, not counting the new caches I placed. Not bragging, just a measure of my total intensity in adopting this great new activity.

In today's geocaching world, this count could take no more than two days in Atlanta or Nashville and the cacher would probably be no wiser nor better informed about the area except for where the traffic jams and new road construction projects are. The most difficult exercise would likely be finding a parking place close enough to the Wal*Mart lamp post to keep an overfed butt on a car seat while signing a log.

Although the "SC Reviewer" states that this cache was archived because of "cemetery" concerns, the site was nowhere near the church or the cemetery.

A pox on all politicians! If you vote for an incumbent, you are probably voting for evil. (Do you get the idea that I don't like these folks? Add that I'm a former political activist and maybe you'll put more thought into the election process!)

Finally made up for my bluey.

Divewolf had some of the best early caches in Beaufort. He took a few family years off and is now back into family geocaching!

Before someone crapped (literally) into one of his ammo boxes, Photo had some great caches in the Beaufort area.

Since it was nearby and I had too much work to catch up on, I rushed to find this cache and must admit I was a bit disappointed.

Too easy and nothing really interesting on the way.

By today's standards, this could be considered a great cache, but in fall of '02, it didn't fit in this area.

Another lost one. As I recall, the mosquitoes were intense.
