This bug has 2 goals...one is to try to catch up with me!! He needs to either catch me in person anywhere I might be, or be placed in one of my caches in either California or Michigan while I am in that state. The first person to successfully do that will get an unused travel bug!! (or $5) His other goal is to collect interesting or unusual buttons on his wire to keep him company on his travels. Traveling anywhere else is OK too as he loves to travel!
The idea for this travel bug occured to me while attending the NBS annual button collecting meeting in Richmond, Virginia. A nice lady from France gave me this little button man and I thought he'd be a natural for a Travel Bug. I travel around a lot so I thought it might be fun to see if he could catch me. He can catch me in person if a geocacher knows who I am and where to find me, or he can be placed in one of my caches. If I happen to be in that state when he is placed there so I can retrieve him, I will award the intrepid geocacher a new Travel Bug!(or $5)
Meanwhile his other goal is to collect interesting and/or unusual buttons on his wire to keep him company on his travels. He also wouldn't mind visiting other button collectors, or button clubs anywhere...or just traveling around.
I launched him on his journey in a nice easy cache in Virginia!
