My desire, which may or may not be obvious by my name is to visit at least one cache in each of the 50 U.S. State Capitols.

About This Item

Take Me To Your Leader

We're putting this Travel Bug into commission in an attempt to reinstate our earlier Travel Bug's Mission Statement. That Bug turned up M.I.A. in Yakima, Washington not long after it was released August 11th, 2002; to be exact, after it was placed on the 19th, it disappeared. Although he was such a cute Polar Bear we believe that this new guy is much more suited for the task at hand.

We would appreciate that those who elect to pick it up, LOG IT correctly and in a timely manner. And also, please don't pick it up if you aren't willing to replace it within a month. It's very disconcerting for us all when someone hangs on to travel bugs for literally months at a time. Remember, if YOU don't want the responsibility, please leave it for someone else. Now that sounds fair!

Thanks in advance and as always, "Happy Caching"!

Attached to this Travel Bug is a laminated sheet listing all 50 State Capitols. If you place this Travel Bug in one of those cities, please cross that city off the list with a "Sharpie" (permanent marker). That way future finders will know right away where he has already been.

Not sure which cache I found this in today, as I usually just log the find when I get home. However, I see its current status is supposed to be with someone else, which it obviously isn't. I will move this along to Florida in a few weeks, since it hasn't been there yet.

Picked up just a few miles from Annapolis, MD, but we can't give it an official visit to the oldest active state house in the nation. Will get him back towards that way soon. Neat concept for a bug!
