Found this trackable in the sand out in Bodega bay, CA near one of our geocaches that we were checking for maintenance. I fear that someone dropped it at our Westside Park geocache. After plugging in the information, it appears the envelope is missing, but was last seen in Klammath park, very far from here. Geocoins get muggled a lot here in CA so USCGCutterman and I have made all of our coins into virtual coins so they can still travel but not get stolen, a sad thing for sure. I cannot tell where it has been and I will send it on its way when I visit a historical spot.
I guess the history for the coins original owner in Germany is that where I found it is at Bodega Bay, where there are many fishing vessels. This is an active seaport for commercial fishing for salmon and dungeness crab on the California coast, North of San Francisco. Let's get some more miles on this one and send it back to Germany?
