Big Red Bear wants to travel around the beautiful province of BC. He heard there were lots of Grizzly bears in BC so he thought he would try to find some.
Big Red Bear belongs to a student at Niji Mahkwa School in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Niji Mahkwa is a school that teaches Ojibwe and Cree language and culture along with the regular curriculum. Niji Mahkwa is Ojibwe for Little Bear. The bear is important to Canadian Aboriginals because it represents courage and strength.

I am soooooo sorry! I just cleaned out my backpack and found the Big Red Bear in a side pouch. I had forgotten that I had rescued him from the Oak Park Mirage. 😮 I will move him along very soon!
Hmmm, this guy is a long way from home. But still in some great mountains. I will try to find another good spot to drop him off.
