Current Goal

This little African ellie who was named Nellie would love to travel to as many nature reserves as she possibly can while on route to meeting her cousin the Asian elephant.
To be able to do this she needs your help.

About This Item

The Asian elephant is slighty smaller than its African relatives; the easiest way to distinguish the two is that the Asian elephat has smaller ears.
The Asian elephant has a more arched back compared to the African, one ""finger" at the tip of its trunk as opposed to two, four nails on each hind foot instead of three, and 19 pairs of ribs instead of 21. Asia elephants usually lack tusks and the forehead has two hemispherical bulges, unlike the flat front of the African elephant. Asian elephants are far more agile at using their feet in conjunction with the trunk for manipulating objects and is therefore widely domesticated.
