A little bit of caching at Jackson Square in 'Nawlins. Think we'll scoot on over to Café Du Monde to celebrate with beignets and coffee.

Retrieve It from a Cache 1/10/2015 Cache-Counter retrieved it from Into The Dark... Alabama   Visit Log

Being from Alabama and claiming to be 1/2 redneck... I can tell you we have a family "Critter Cook Off" once a year. This is where we gather and eat various critters harvested over the year: Squirrel, deer, duck, raccoon, rabbit, hog, turkey, dove, alligator, frogs and BEAVER!!!! Beaver actually tastes pretty good (save your jokes). It is a very dark meat and looks and tastes like pot roast. And with that being said...

I Found this furry critter hanging out in a very appropriate creek cache called INTO THE DARK (GC50XJ4). Look forward to getting this one back on the trail. I will not try to eat this one!
