About This Item

Help for Heroes Front

Wherever you take it could I have a photo for the log. If it does go to meets I would like a photo of the meet. This will make for a nice log. If you can't do the photo then don't worry, just move on quickly.

Here is what this geocoin is all about.

Help for Heroes (H4H) was set up by Bryn and Emma Parry in 2007 to raise much needed funds to help wounded servicemen and women returning to the UK from operations abroad. The charity is not politically biased and is non-judgemental realising that conflicts happen under any government but what matters are the men and women who put themselves in harms way in the name of us all.

The website for the charity is (visit link)

First family find - son is very excited, but sad that he will have to give up the coin. Planning trip a distance away.

  • DSC_0005 Jim & Claudia (raritan) and Nik (ekitt10) admiring the heaviest coin ever at the Captain Kidd event
  • DSC_0006 I was saying that this was more of an ingot than a coin! It sure drew a lot of attention, and we all wondered how much it cost to make.
