Current Goal

This coin will usually be seen in association with “POPPY II”, a Magnetic Travel Bug attached to a red Citroën C2 with a registration number HV58ZZC.  Transport now changed to a red Citroen C1

About This Item

Named in memory of my grandfather Wilfred Mervyn *******, known as “Bill”. He was a South African War Veteran, 8th (King's Royal Irish) Hussars. He was also a member of the Mounted Military Police , Labour Corps in World War One, serving in France. When the Aldershot Branch of the South African War Veterans Association finally laid up their banner in the Garrison Church, he was the youngest surviving member of that Association Branch, at that time . Location of sighting with a Gps reading if practical.
