Current Goal

1-1-2011 update: NEW MISSION: The Honu Geocoin new mission is to travel to Lake County, Illinois. Upon arrival, visit as many as caches in Lake County, Illinois as possible.

Hooray!  The Honu Geocoin accomplished its first mission by travelling to Door County, Wisconsin. This coin completed the journey from Kirkland, WA to Door County, WI in 18 months. Congratulations and THANK YOU to all the geocachers it met along the way!

About This Item

This coin was a gift to the youngest member of Kirkland Thor by her father. There is a special place in Door County, a cabin owned by the young girl's grandparents, that we are looking forward to visit in the months and years to come.
