Remembering those that go before us is very important. We lost our Grandpa many years ago, in 1986, after a long and enduring battle with cancer. We lost Grandma quite a bit more recently, in 2011, after batting the loss of her mind and the debilitating disease known as Alzeimers. They were a great couple, offering marriage councilling to new couples and always being devout to one another. He was a WWII veteran, being a gunner in the B-29 Squadrons over Germany. Upon returning home, he became a foot postman until he retired some 30 years later. She was a Water Department Clerk in the days that women did not work. They raised 4 children together, and have over 25 grand and great grand children. They will be remember forever as two of God's good ones on this earth!
An early kitchen knife, that after severe dulling, became a great workshop tool, used for spreading glue and mixing paint.
