About This Item

My Geek Odyssey

In 2009 I was awarded a Teacher Creativity Fellowship from the Lilly Endowment to travel to England and learn about the Mini Cooper. As a part of this I also created a webcomic (www.mygeekodyssey.com) and examined other geeky things that I like. This coin holds the pathtag that I made for the fellowship and the webcomic. The comic can be found at (visit link) photos of the journey can be seen at (visit link)

Groundspeak did a fantastic job celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Geocaching at the Lost & Found event. We wandered around Fremont, WA meeting cachers from around the world while picking up puzzle pieces... Even saw a little Shakespeare at the Troll. Cecil was able to prove that he is the center of the universe while visiting The Center of the Universe. I frankly can't wait until the next time we get a chance to go out and visit... so many caches so little time.
