Current Goal

I'm in a race and need your help to get me to the finish line in central Utah first! I wouldn't mind a few pictures along the way of some of the drivers with anything Duck related.

About This Item

I'm racing three other cars back to ExCache in central Utah. The cars in the race are:

I need you to take the driver's seat for a segment of the race. Can you help me win?

As with any race, there are a few rules. Not that they can be enforced. :) A driver can only drive one car. Each car must make at least 5 pit stops to unique caches by different drivers before crossing the finish line. Any mode of transportation is allowed.

A trophy is waiting for the first driver that places one of these race cars in the ExCache Cache in Orem, Utah. The trophy is also a travel bug whose goal is to get a picture of all the drivers that assisted in the win and then return to the car owner for the display case.

Race Update:

Mustang Maniac was second off the line but took the lead thanks to utbob2 driving it all the way to Utah on its first segment. Only two more pit stop needed before heading to the finish line! After being stuck in an archived cache Mustang Maniac was stolen by an overly competative competitor! Unfortunately, the scant rules didn't prevent racers from interfering with the cars of others.

FatBoy had the hole shot and is now leaving Kansas headed to New York by a newby driver that apparently doesn't understand the race or travel bugs.

The Duck is in Texas, but is on the move again.

The FastChevy was slow off the line, has made it to Texas and is now in Oklahoma.

The Underdog had a late entry into the race and has jumped to second place with his first race leg dropping him in Montana. (He nearly made it to SLC) He is now in Nevada and has a good chance of winning since Mustang is headed to Texas! Good luck to the Underdog Racer.

Selected "Grab it from somewhere else" because this bug was NOT in a geo cache! See My log at "When Midnight falls upon the castle" for full details. In short someone placed this bug in a little girl's time capsul. Which looks just like a geocache. She even has a club called the ugly bug club the logo looks simular to travel bug. She has a bunch of goodies, looks like many geocachers have been getting instead of the cache for some time, and many of her goods are gone. I left a note warning off all other cachers that the coffe can is not a geocache, and left the girl with some of my own goodies. The cache there was really a tuperware canister. So now DuckMobile is off and really starting the race. Yaaaa!!!! Go DuckMobile!

Nice cache. Figured I would try and take it to Utah, but unfortunately had to bypass there on my way to WA. Placing it today (6/14) at an easy cache in Whidbey Island, hoping it will be found by a Navy guy taking a jet to Utah this week. Hope this makes it easier to get to the winner's circle!!
