About This Item

First Latvian Geocoin

This coin was made in 2008 by latvian geocaching enthusiasts. A guy with a shovel is Spriditis from a tale by A. Brigadere. He is only several inches tall, eager for adventures and is determined to find happiness. Behind him is a contour of Latvia - his homeland. On the other side is a theme of "Lielvardes josta" - ancient belt with traditional ornaments.

This trackable was unfortunately not seen in cache Aursundveien when Breivikaas visited 06/20/2014: NB: Så ingenting til den sporbare som er registrert i cachen = NB: Saw nothing of the trackable which is registered in the cache. And gerd-uro confirms on 06/21/2014: No TB.

On my (Memme's) visit 07/11/2014 I checked the log book and found two visitors who have not logged the cache on-line, both 06/08/2014: carinaballerina and IngerM66. Let us hope that one of them or another visitor found the coin and just forgot to log it.

Coin owner or cache owner, please move the traveller to Unknown Location (Mark Item Missing) if it doesn't show up soon.

Discovered this travel bug at the Meet the Lackey and Reviewers 2014 Mega Event in Oslo, Norway. Although there have been events in Scandinavia before, this was the first Mega Event to be organized in Norway. Hopefully it won't be the last of this type, there are many avid geocachers all over the Land of the Midnight Sun.

I know you have been discovered by many, many others on May 3rd. Thanks for attending the event together with us!
