My Favorite Cookie

This bug belongs to a 12 year-old young lady who likes to both eat and make cookies. Here's one of her favorites for both!

Pudding Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 1/2 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. oleo (2 sticks)
1/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1 (12 oz.) real chocolate chips
1 c. cut nut meats

Cream sugars, butter. Add pudding, vanilla. Beat in 2 eggs. Add flour and rest of ingredients gradually. Beat well. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes at 375.

I am a cookie baker so I’ll take this trackable and drop it off somewhere else, maybe close to a bakery
My recipe:
Cut out cookies, not just for Christmas
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2.5 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. In separate bowl mix flour, baking powder and salt. Then add to creamed mixture ( I go just a tad lighter on the flour) Chill dough. Heat oven to 350. Roll dough out and use cookie cutters. Bake cookies until just barely beginning to get golden on the edges. Cool. Frost with whatever frosting recipe you like.
