Small size coin with little heft. Unusaul shape. Nice 3-D and enamel work. The front shows traditional nutcracker enamel colors. The 3-D work is edge work and is raised. The tag on the bow says "Merry Christmas". The reverse has no enamel. The background metal texture is nice. The background is in relief which gives the rim and the script a 3-D appearance. The medallion says "Nutcracker 2008" and has a swag of holly between two bows. Fits in a film container. Available in other metal colors.
