Current Goal

Tish is one of our three cats. She wants to travel around the U.S. or even the world, meeting other cats and getting their picture taken together. Cats who look like her are a special bonus! She wants to return home to Yuma, AZ by January 22, 2007.

About This Item

tish and TB.jpg

This TB is a picture of Tish with her name next to it. Judging from the picture we took of the TB with Tish, it should be easy to get a good, clear shot of the TB and the cat she's with. Please don't forget to take the picture and post it! :) Other pictures of her travels are welcome as well!

What looks like a pile of oak leaves here is the back of my $1,000 cat named Callie. Callie was a wild cat that was having kittens all over the woods and I was unable to catch her until she was attacked by some animal that ripped the skin of her back leg from her tail down to her ankle and her whole leg was sticking out. Badly wounded and unable to hunt well, I was now able to trap her and take her to the Vet and get her fixed up. I thought because I had trapped her while she was wounded and put her in a truck and took her to this horrible place where they stuck her with needles, etc. plus I had to keep her in a cage until she was healed would make her distrust me even more but she turned into a very loving cat and even brought me her last 3 kittens (one had lost an eye) but if I go outside without a shirt on she gets upset and will not leave me alone because she thinks I’ve been wounded also (took me awhile to figure out what was upsetting her). They keep my country home safe from vermin and I keep them safe from any more attacks plus a nice side benefit is I don’t get sun burned anymore because Miss Callie wont let me work outside without a shirt on.
I wish your travel bug the best of luck on it’s next adventure/s and I was glad I was able to move it along on this portion of it's journey.

My cat has been long gone. Poor Tommy had an eye removed before we had to put him down. Seeing your bug gave me an idea for a bug for my Tommy....Thanks

took a picture with one cat, we have one more to snag and then we will send Tish on her way!

  • Tish and Pumkin This is Pumkin, naturally she is orange. She is fickle, like every other cat in the world. She sheds like a bear.

Kitty was soaked when we found her. She has been cleaned, dried, and petted. She will now be on her way to play with more cats.
