Current Goal

Kinnie Bear wants to get to the Mediterranean island of Malta, where the famous drink, 'Kinnie' originates.
Kinnie Bear's owner, pocketrocket&friends also has family who live on this magnificent island.

He is going to be set off on his mission in the cache I've called 'Anyone for Bocce?!'

Kinnie Bear does not have a set time in which to reach Malta, but it would be great to see how close he can get!

As I have never been lucky enough to travel yet, it would be fantastic to have some photographs of Kinnie Bear on his journey. If you retrieve or spot Kinnie Bear in a cache, please take a photo of him at popular/ famous landmarks if possible and upload it to his page.

About This Item

A bit about Kinnie...

Kinnie was originally developed by Simonds Farsons Cisk in Malta in 1952, as an alternative to the innumerable colas that had proliferated in Europe since the Second World War.

Kinnie is a unique tasting, alcohol-free, natural, refreshing beverage. Its golden amber colour, and the fact that it is made from bitter oranges and a variety of aromatic herbs, lend this beverage a bitter taste which is an excellent thirst quencher. This drink is ideal on its own, particularly with a slice of orange. It also mixes excellently with a number of alcoholic drinks and cocktails.
