Current Goal

Bridger's mission is to visit as many bridges as possible while touring the world and to collect images and coordinates of his favorites for a student-run GIS website project.

About This Item

Take Bridger to see a bridge or two when you're travelling about. When you find one he likes (he's partial to bridges of exotic, historical, or architectural coolness), jot down the coordinates and snap a picture of the bridge. Then upload the coords and image to this site and send him on his way to another adventure!

Once his GIS website is up, we'll post a link to it and you can check out all of the sites Bridger's been to.

Miss. Mudcat Sr. passed on Bridger so he can be added to the swag at the "Did I Cache Your Name?" event cache this weekend. This should make for some interesting travel opportunities! Good luck,

I am so glad to have the opportunity to introduce Bridger to our wonderful 5-span stone bridge in Pakenham, Ontario, Canada. This is the only bridge of its kind in all of North America! I've included pics of the bridge and the historical plaque. I can hardly wait to see your report when it's completed - Good Luck - Mississippi Mudcats Jr & Sr.

I've arranged for Bridger to visit one of the prettiest, and oldest, bridges in the Ottawa Valley. Mississippi Mudcat Sr. now has Bridger for a brief tour of Pakenham! Cheers,

Just a flying visit to the latest of the "Ottawa's Bridges" series of caches, now on to fresh pastures!

I thought Bridger would enjoy this bridge. It's unique in Ottawa in being the only swing bridge, just like Pretoria is the only lift bridge, on the Rideau Canal through the city. Cheers,

    • Bridger on the wharf, bridge in the background!
    • Danger! No, it's OK, the bridge doesn't operate in winter!

On the move again, further down the Rideau Canal to another distinctive bridge. Cheers,
