A cute little Cornish pasty, traditionally eaten by the tin miners in Cornwall. The filling was beef, onion, potato and swedewith salt, pepper and butter. Cooked in pastry with crimped edge. The original pasties also has cooked fruit at one end. The miners could hold the crimp, eat the rest and throw the crust to the rats which were used to warn of gas.
This one was found in a cache in Warrington I think I took it from the event. I will sort out the mileage for you. It appears someone has forget to log it. Not a problem though.
Picked up this little Cornish pasty from Formby yesterday afternoon.
