To travel to and fro spreading serenity to all who move it along. If the coin happens to attend "a meeting" where its serenity, courage and wisdom are recognized, encouraged, and celebrated, the owner would appreciate knowing of the date and city of such a meeting.
The attached coin has the serenity prayer on one side: "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference." On the other side it is inscribed with the phrase: "ONE DAY AT A TIME"

We grabbed this one today and feel more serene already. There an no meetings in our retired near future so we will put it back out in another cache further down the coast soon.
