Thought it was a rhino when I picked it up and then realized it's that weird 3 horned rhino-like mammal that has big canines even though it was a herbivore and lived in North America. It probably weighed in at about 2 tons, but, unfortunately, it had "....too bad of a brain" , like way too small and died out. Loved dinosaurs when I was a small kid, but like the funky mammals even more. Good description from a retired biology teacher ...huh?
My memory banks couldn't remember the first part of its scientific name, but that "therium" part, I had down pat. I knew it wasn't a Brontothere or Titanothere, so googled 3 horned mammal and found Uintatherium. Will drop "Uinta" my cache that's "just sittin' on the dock of the bay" and someone can carry him onto to new adventures.
