Not sure if this coin is ready to head back to Tar Heel Country or continue its travel here north of the Mason Dixon Line. I know my friend lexmano only needs the two Carolina's and DC to complete all 48 of the lower 48 States Challenge and if he's going soon I could hand it off to him.

Or I'll just place it nearby for other cachers in the great State of Maine to enjoy! We'll see. This is a very nice coin. Thanks for sharing and I hope it travels a long way for you.

Found this in "the other side of the mountain" while out for a great hike. We found lots of great hikes in 2009, both in Maine, and in California - thanks for asking! And thanks for sharing this neat coin.

Hmmm, 2009 is almost over. What did I find?: Lots of caches. I am over 1,000 and working towards 2,000. I found out that I am a much stronger person than I thought and made one of the hardest decisions of my life, which was a good choice for me. I also found that I can hike and enjoy it, so I found the joy of 3000ft mountain hiking and combine it with some caching and I'm golden. I found an embedded geotick in my neck which required 3 weeks of antibiotics for that pesky lyme disease. I also found a lot more new geobuddies and geofriends. 2009 had some challenges, but it sure did bring me back to Geocaching and my friends.
What didn't I find: NO FTF's this year... Not as many pink flamingos and cow swag as I'd have liked too. I use that to prank my geobuddies who hate cows and pink flamingos. The one great blessing I have is that I didn't find a BEAR! I guess myhiking bear bell really does work!
Thanks for sharing your coin and making me do a review of 2009.
