Bone Doc is in honor of my orthopedist ~ Dr. Paul Tornetta at Boston University Medical Center. He put my leg back together - the second time - after a geocaching accident. Bone Doc is just the kind of doc you'd want. He has excellent surgical skills, superb training, keeps up on reading about the latest orthopedic treaments and has a good bedside manner. To top it off ~ even the nurses like him!
I've decided Bone Doc spends waaaaayyy too much time in the hospital tending to patients. He's spent alot of time in school and training and needs to get out and travel so he doesn't burn out. Please keep him moving so he can see lots of caches and travel around the world.
Orthopedic surgeons typically spend:
4 years achieving an undergraduate degree; 4 years in medical school; 1 year of internship; 4 years of residency;
1 year of fellowship training in a sub-specialty. That's 14 years! Why I needed Bone Doc:
