It can never return to its birthplace - "A World of Geocoins" before a cache has been visited on the Moon or contact with Luna dust or rock has been made.
The owner of this "Caching On The Moon" Geocoin has also become owner of property on the Moon. A small ground (app 1m x 1m) of lunar land located at the "Sea of Tranquillity". 1969 first Apollo 11 Mission landed here and Neil Armstrong as the first human set foot on Luna. Geocachers are allowed to carry this geocoin around but they do not own any property on the Moon.
