Air Traffic Control

This strange looking item is a belay control device that I collected during a brief flirtation with rock climbing. Its manufacturers named it “Air Traffic Control”. It’s meant to be used to control climbing ropes and protect climbers on the rock face and is called a belay device. Please take him to as many rock climbing locations as possible and photograph him there.
A note of caution though, don’t use it unless you have been properly trained in climbing techniques, it could prove dangerous if used wrongly.

Not sure about rock climbing, but have tried most other things, pot-holing, bungee jumping, free-fall parachuting, but hey - this rock climbing sounds too risky for us OAPs!
Best wishes ..... Brian & Margaret (Hamfist)
