Air Traffic Control

This strange looking item is a belay control device that I collected during a brief flirtation with rock climbing. Its manufacturers named it “Air Traffic Control”. It’s meant to be used to control climbing ropes and protect climbers on the rock face and is called a belay device. Please take him to as many rock climbing locations as possible and photograph him there.
A note of caution though, don’t use it unless you have been properly trained in climbing techniques, it could prove dangerous if used wrongly.

Picked this up in Tahoe and will take it down to S. California. I'll try to get it up into the mountains (if they're not on fire).

Taking from the highest point of London to Lake Tahoe in the US. Not that there's really much rock climbing right there, but there's a good chance of it getting to Yosemite for some serious rock climbing!

Took us a while to find the perfect climbing place, think the bug should be very happy here for a while. Lots of things to climb!
