Current Goal

Talky Tina has been traveling the country collecting and telling stories. She recently had a harrowing kidnapping experience and was saved by some dedicated supersleuths! As of today 10/10/03 she is in a cache near the border of Arizona and since she is so close to home which is Sedona, AZ she would appreciate a trip home for some R&R. We'll start compiling her stories when she gets here. She is eternally grateful to everyone who has helped her along her journey - especially charmass! Thank you!!

About This Item

Talky Tina

Talky Tina is traveling and collecting lots of stories along the way. She is carrying a log book with her and needs help in recording her adventures (it's a little hard to write when you don't have hands). She asked me to tell you that she would like you to write down the first words out of her mouth after you take her out of the cache in her log book - and, indeed, anything else she may have to say before traveling on to the next cache. She also would like you to log her conversation on the web page too, if you wouldn't mind. It's time for her to come home and we'll help her to publish her tales. She made it !! I left work a little early today so we could bring her home and she would be able to sleep in her own bed tonite. We have been having snow, sleet & rain here in the Verde Valley so the temperature has been quite chilly - too chilly to stay another night in a cache. She did have a wonderful time, though, and has many stories to tell us about her travels around the country for the last two years. We will be posting them here along with some more photos so stay tuned! Thank you Cactus Clan for bringing her home! dwgogo

😎 Cactus Clan found Talky Tina in a cold container in the Utah desert on our way home from volunteering at Best Friends and exploring Kanab. We took her in with us...three boys, two dogs, two crazy adults and a "Beast" (1987 Chevy Suburban~running poorly) fill of junk. We had a great trip home, except for car trouble in Bullhead City. Since the family mechanic (Pop) is in Clarkdale, and the Beast is headed that way soon.....we figured Talky Tina could catch a ride home. So.....dwogo prepare the guest room, Talky Tina is headed home! See you soon. Lovesthesun and CactusDad.

Found Talky Tina up on the Bloomington Overlook hike, and she had some stories to tell after sitting there with that view. We also got her some more stories by visiting Creed's pink Castle nearby. What a tale he had to tell! She went trick or treating with us, too, and all the neighbors thought she had the best costume! She's longing for home still, so we'll get this little sock on her way shortly!

First TB retrived. Had a nice visit with Talky Tina on the way back home. Talky Tina was up on Little Baldy since June so a lot of stories were exchanged. Would like to have Talky Tina stay with me for about a week and a half. I,ll be Southern Utah at that time and will find a nice cache for Talky Tina to visit. Thanks

Tina should have a great view from here...if she can get the box open from the inside! Looks like I might have blundered a bit, placing Tina in such a challenging cache...there is still lots of summer and plenty of crazy cachers in the area, tho, so hopefully one of them will bring her down from this lofty perch. I will spread the word on the cache page. At least we know that anyone who finds her there is a pretty devoted cacher, and probably Travel Bug friendly.
