Paulie's mission is to see the oceans where guys like him live. Please take him on trips to the beach, and if you can, he would like to see the coasts of Spain or Ireland.
The common Periwinkle was first introduced to the Atlantic Coast of North America in the 1800's. The first recorded case was in 1840 in the Gulf of St.Lawrence.
Periwinkles are also considered to be a delicacy in Asia, but please don't eat this little guy!
