This travel bug was released from
St. Peter’s school in Exeter, UK
on Monday 4th May 2009.

Please help it achieve it’s mission of making it to Exeter High School in Missouri, USA. The bug is then free to wander the world seeing new places and meeting new people.

Along the way, please feel free to save low-resolution photos onto its memory stick to chart its progress.

The bug was released the year my wonderful tutor group 11PR graduated from school to go into the big wide world.

Just like the travel bug they have no idea what life holds for them – how exciting!!!

    Seven of the boys from Westbury Cottage, Rodeheaver Boys Ranch, Palatka, FL and I went geocaching. This was the third stop of the day and will be one for the memory books! We were out geocaching as part of our 4-H project, Exploring the World Around Us! How ironic that we should find a trackable from UK! The boys range in age from 13 to 15 and live at the boys ranch for at least a year. The boys have difficulty with obedience and respect in their homes and come here to learn self-control and coping skills as many come from homes that are broken by divorce, death, or drugs. I am the cottage mom; my husband and I provide a home for the boys where they can learn to function in a 'normal' family setting. Rodeheaver Boys Ranch is a non-profit, privately funded Christian child care facility; caring for 45-50 boys in 5 homes on 790+ acres in the heart of Florida. You can find us at rbr.org. I'm not sure yet where we will leave your Geocoin, but my goal is to get it considerably closer to Missouri! :-D
