...eine richtig schöne alte Personal Coin, die hier heute zusammen mit einigen anderen in die Sammlung einzieht!! Außergewöhnliche Form für eine alte Personal! Als kleiner geschichtlicher Hintergrund: der St. Patrick's Day ist jährlich am 17. März und auf den irischen Bischof Patrick, der als erster christlicher Missionar Irlands gilt und im 5. Jahrhundert gelebt haben soll, zurückzuführen. Geburts- und Sterbetag sind nicht bekannt; seit dem 7. Jahrhundert ist der 17. März als offizieller Sterbetag überliefert.

...a nice old Personal Coin, that's moving - together with some more - into my collection today! Special shape for an old Personal!! As for some historical background: St. Patrick's Day is each years' 17th of March and is going back to the Irish Bishop Patrick, who was named first Christian missionary of Ireland and should have lived during 5th Century. Birthday and day of death isn't known; it's back in the 7th Century that the 17th of March first is delivered as date of dead.

Sehr interessant, was du in der Rubrik „Christmas, Holiday and other Celebrations“ zusammengepackt hast. Auf einmal las ich R.I.P. und für einen Moment war ich irritiert. Aber klar kann man auch Halloween feiern. Das celebriere ich schließlich sehr gerne. Auch hier entdeckte ich einige Schmuckstücke. Vielen Dank für die gute Unterhaltung zum Feierabend. Cattack

Ich hatte heute die Gelegenheit mir die TB und GC Sammlung von mel-whv anzusehen Danke für das teilen und die Erklärung um welchen TB / Coin es sich handelt. Ich bedanke mich ganz herzlich für die Erlaubnis deine beeindruckende Sammlung zu discovern. Diese Sammlung hat es wirklich in sich, da sind richtige Schmuckstücke dabei. Es wird Wochen dauern bis ich alle in Ruhe bewundert habe. Ich bin begeistert.
