About This Item

MEEEETERING VALVE!!

For those wondering what the heck this thing is, it's a metering valve from an Army Humvee. My brother rebuilds fuel injectors for these vehicles at his job and this is one of the parts he uses.

This all actually started one day when his son broke a plastic coat hanger and my brother says "Hey that looks like a metering valve!". So for about two days everytime he saw the broken hanger he would scream "MEEEETERING VALVE!". He even got his 3 kids to do it too. Finally he brought one home and explained how the valve works inside a Humvee fuel pump.

So I finally got the joke and thought this would be a great Travel Bug! So have fun with this one because we sure did!!
