If you are reading this it is probably because you have come into possesion of one very unlucky travel bug. The weight alone should have told you not to pick this thing up.
In geocaching, there is always a crucial little bit of luck that helps us make our finds. The DNF-Unlucky bug will take that little bit of luck away and cause those in its possession to struggle mightily for every cache they find. Their satellite reception will be pitiful, their socks will be wet and their geo-senses non-existent. Worst of all, they will feel compelled to log each and every DNF they experience in honest detail.
Likewise, caches that contain this bug will also suffer. These caches will become exceptionally difficult to locate for all but muggles. Logbooks will become damp, trails will become muddy and swag will be only of the broken happy-meal variety.
You will feel the weight of the bad luck that follows this bug as you carry it around. Even though it will be very hard to find a cache to place it in, please deposit this bug ASAP before the bad luck rubs off onto you. This bug doesn't care if it reaches some far-off land so please just place quickly... if you can. The preference is to actually keep this bug in the Pacific Northwest.
Please share your testimonial and a picture of your ill-fated adventures with this bug as a warning to others.
Feel free to try to counter the bad effects of this bug by attaching any lucky-charm hitchhiker you want.
PS: 8lbs in case you were wondering.

Apparently “unlucky”, yet, I have been lucky enough to discover this TB! I shall deposit it in a new location before the luck abandons me!
