AMTG British Bobby GC 1

Mid to large coin with heft. Unusual shape. Nice design and enamel work. The front has heavy black enamel work. There is very nice intricate 3-D work on the crown of the hat and on the badge. The detail is so delicate that a magnifying glass is need to appreciate the workmanship. The medallion has a "badge" with script that says "ER" against green enamel. The "rays emanating from this part of the design are so delicate and well done that it is often overlooked. This is due to the large area of black enamel that makes up the "helmet". There is more 3-D work but it is restricted to edge work. There is script around the inner medallion that says ""Geocaching Police" in the same metal color against dark blue enamel. The reverse continues the heavy black enamel. The medallion script says "It's A Fair Cache, Guv!". The only other metal work (other than the edge work) is in the crown of the helmet. This mirrors the front and is done indelicate scroll work. Nice coin that incorporates excellent detail against large areas of plain enamel work. Very nice coin.. ---------------------------------------So many of my trackable have gone muggled that I only release new GCs as virtuals. If you do not approve, please leave it in the cache for a chacher who understands. Thanks. AL

Thanks to the 2023 Christmas Day blizzard my daughter, JMVonFange, was delayed in heading home so we spent the bonus time together comparing our caching statistics including trackables discovered and looking through our geocaching pictures. JM has discovered significantly more trackables that I have mainly because while we were staying home during the pandemic she spent time online and spotted numerous TBs that were being shared virtually on various social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, etc. Thankfully, she still had a few notes that helped guide my search for the same trackables that she had already discovered. After looking at the TB page for each of the TBs that she had discovered, I found that a large number all belonged to several individuals and sent a message to them individually inquiring about permission to log their trackables. This travel bug was on the list shared by amtg. I hope that even though virtual discoveries are becoming less common, you will not delete my discovered log. I only have two trackables that are activated at this time, one is lost in the wild and the other is still traveling with me, but will gladly share the codes with you via the geocaching message center if you are interested in discovering them.
