well you have travelled much more than 1357 kms yo travelled from Tiny Planes too my home North richmond then too Warren then Bourke , Wannaring (the hottest place in NSW)then Tiboooburra ,Innaminka , Back into Queensland up to Betoota, where the roads are dirt with110kms/hr then their is a 60 km sign next to the sign Betoota 'POP 0' SOOOO WHY DOOO WE HAVE TOO SLOW DOWN!?!?! ask Jeremy Clkarkson why for me. Then onto Birdsville POP 160 (except for when the Birdsville Races are on when the POP goes to 6/7 thou.) where the movies are put on a big screen then off to the Simpson desert. The cache i wanted too put you into was2mtrs under water, look up Heinz Big Red cache, so far 3 thousand kms! So what to do lets take you thru another desert! so far you have been thru the Strezleki, Simpson, Sturts Stoney Desert and now to the Tirari desert. Only problem is if you saw them you would say WHAT DESERT! everything out here is GREEN and sooo lush.well you have ended up in a Pub a great watering hole Mungaranie Pub 312 kms southish of Birdsville. Now thats not so bad but when you think well i'll buy some beer and petrol and fill up the water tank and the next town is 312 kms away well you think Oh Golly Aussie is BIG. well as the crow flys you travelled 1357 kms but really its close to 3thou and all but the first 800odd the rest was on dirt with rain pouring on the Famous Birdsville Track. So it were a slippery drive and all!!!!

And trust me you are near water eg Menindee Lakes are bloddy huge and they are chockers 2 of them 120% and the one that was dry for 10yrs is @100 % plus more flowing in!!!!
after ten ish yrs of very little rain over the last two years its been the tropics!!!!
