This coin is part of the Todie's Wild Ride race to help promote bicycle and motorcycle safety. Please discover or move it but please don't keep it! In memory of Tod, one third of Team Rod & Tod w/Kaboom. Tod was tragically killed when a vehicle turned in front of his motorcycle. He was not wearing a DOT approved helmet. Helmets save lives!

I believe this is the second Todie's Wild Ride coin I have found. I am so sorry about the loss of your friend. Thanks for creating a set of coins in his honor and to encourage helmet usage. Helmets are the best way to preserve our brains 🙂 and happily, today, all the cyclists along the path were considerate of slower hikers like us and they wore their helmets. (And we saw quite a few of them on this beautiful day.) Thanks again.
