Official Cirque du Soleil Commemorative Geocoins have been made as part of the celebration for the 25th anniversary of Cirque du Soleil in Baie-Saint-Paul (Quebec, Canada).
Geocoin details are the following :
- 250 BRAND NEW UNACTIVATED geocoins (125 gold and 125 silver)
- 42 mm (1 5/8”) in diameter
- Trackable on Geocaching.com
- Custom Icon
- Designed with the logo of the event and under approval of Cirque du Soleil

I had placed this geocoin in one of my own caches back in July which hasn't been found since. Since I was on my way past yesterday for a weekend "up the valley", I figured I'd grab it and pass it on down in the Ottawa area in a more active cache or maybe a TB Hotel/Motel.

This coin was offered to me by Lemmy Caution when he returned from a trip to the East Coast.

It happens so that I was checking out this very style of coin on eBay the other day but only admired on screen due to its cost. I will hold onto this one until the next event in the Ottawa area where it can be admired/discovered by more cachers.
