Current Goal

Once upon a time, before the invention of the mail, letters would be carried by travellers, being passed on to others who were going in the right direction. In an attempt to recreate this, I'm trying an experiment in cachemail. *** Update - Marie has moved *** Bertie will be carrying a postcard to my Aunt, who is in Collie, Western Australia. It looks like the best cache is Minninup, cache GC13M7E. Hopefully, I can then either guide my Aunt to the cache, or someone can deliver it for me. If anyone wants to add greetings to my aunt, or something for Bertie to deliver on the way, then feel free.

About This Item

Bertie the Beefeater has a postbag, carrying the mail from England (hopefully) to Australia, and maybe to other places on the way.

If you have something going in that direction, pop it in, and perhaps we can see how well the experiment works.

    found it a long way from Australia, In the United States, near Carlisle Iowa.
    I will drop of soon and will put my own post card with the cache. I think it would be interesting to put a postcard in it from everywhere it has been.
