DC-3s Flocking to Join AirVenture Birthday Bash 75th anniversary commemoration and celebration
They're coming from everywhere; some three dozen DC-3 and C-47 aircraft that have already shown interest in participating in "The Last Time..." 75th anniversary celebration of the aircraft at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2010.
Several of the DC-3s have been regular visitors to Oshkosh in past years, while others have made only rare appearances or have never been here. In all, it promises to be the largest airborne group of DC-3s assembled since World War II, and likely for the last time ever.

Take the Tag and move it along so Duggy the travel Tag can arrive on time for the event.
The sending Cacher will pay for it's return if the mission is completed to AirVenture.

The journey will begin with more than 25 DC-3 and C-47 aircraft lifting into the skies in late July 2010. Their destination is a central meeting point. A staging area where the group can assemble and plan the last large DC-3 / C-47 formation in the world, and the beginning of their story of their final flight over the heartland of America.

Following the meeting of all participating aircraft, the plans call for a mass formation arrival over EAA Airshow Center on Monday, July 26, 2010. This historic flight will recreate an image of a time gone by. The sight and the sounds, there to be experienced by all, for one last time. Subsequent weeklong activities and celebration will be headline features of EAA's Oshkosh AirVenture 2010.
