First time ever on this beach was in 1978
Then my mother in law bought a house in
Alpaz del Pi, so many summer holidays our family have spent on this stoney beach.
I´m from Oslo - Norway

On our journey around iceland we came across this bug stranded in a remote, and rarely found cache. We chose to end its exile, and took it with us. Together we travelled Iceland's Westfjords, and will now take it home with us. Therefore it will be released again somewhere in continental europe.

From may 7th until may 19th I went on holiday to Iceland.
The first week I travelled with a group of 18 persons.
We stayed 3 day’s in Selfoss and also 3 in Hvolsvollur.
Most of the time we hiked in the beautiful Icelandic nature.
Iceland means also volcano’s, lava, thermal heath and bath’s.
During these day’s I tried to find a cache when there was some room in the program, tnx to the group.
When the group went home to Holland i stayed behind ;-))
I had booked an extra five day’s in Iceland which i spent in Reykjavik. During these day’s was geocaching my guide.
Two day’s on a bike and two day’s with a car.
When I planned my trip and looked on the map I saw it. A chance to break the record of my most northern cache, GC1CTFT - CHSR07 / far mountain trail (Alaska, United States) N 65° 03.315 W 146° 03.178 .
For today I rented a car and left early to go north!
Placed the TB in a new European county as promised to trondlyder. Wonder how long it takes before somebody visits this cache.
