To travel freely and visit as many caches as possible worldwide, introducing her majestic breed to people everywhere.
This TB represents the gentle adventurous spirit of our beautiful Alaskan Malamute, Amber. Not familiar to folks in our area, she is often mistaken for a very large Husky or a wolf (although her color is called 'wolf grey' she is Not part wolf). Malamutes are larger than Huskies and heavy boned, bred for hauling heavy weights over long distances. Their coat, ears and tail set differ from Huskies as well. They don't have blue eyes. Mali's enjoy hiking, jogging, backpacking, and of course caching, but shouldn't be off leash as they love to run, and you risk losing them for good as they can wind up miles and miles from home. Please help this TB travel far and wide in Amber's place!
NOTE: On April 3, 2012 we put our beloved Amber to sleep. She became very ill suddenly and we lost her in 48 hours time. I sincerely hope that whoever has this trackable, now in memory of her adventurous and loving spirit, will put it back into circulation.
