We got this trackable as a reward for finishing the Melinda 5K/10K virtual race to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This beautiful butterfly's mission is to travel the world enjoying all the amazing sights this world offers. Melinda lost her life to Leukemia at the tender age of 8. She loved tiara's, kitties, and princesses. I think she would have loved all the adventures of geocaching. Life is short - enjoy it while you can.
Update: Sapphie (Pat) of Emmy-n-Sapphie was killed in a pedestrian/SUV accident in October, 2015. We had no idea when we wrote in 2013 “Life is short - enjoy it while you can” in the description, that a mere 2 years later, Pat’s life would be cut so tragically short. So those words are even more poignant to me (Emmy) now. I hope Melinda’s Butterfly continues to fly throughout the world.
