Benny wants to get back home to Oregon. His owners released him in sunny Mexico and he is not used to the sun and heat (beavers are not native to this country).

Benny the Beaver

Benny the Beaver hails from the Willamette Valley in western Oregon and is the official State of Oregon animal. He enjoys dam building, after all he did major in engineering at Oregon State University (also the mascot of the awesome Oregon State Beavers sports teams...Go Beavs!).

Weren't the jokes coming thick and fast after retreiving this little fellow from the cache. Some/most/all were probably quite inappropriate but thankfully went well and truly over the junior NANKS and Mads heads.

Benny had to be held carefully to cross back through the dark tea stained water covering the track. (See photos for the cache "Hello Kitty') We wouldn't want a damp beaver now would we?

Found Benny inside the cache drenched from the recent Queensland storms. He just loves water right. Anyway, after I dry him out I'll send him back on his way.
