This coin celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America and showcases a few of Scouting’s Treasures: Cub Scouting, Boy Scouts and Venturing. Pass our coins on so others can enjoy logging them and learn about our program.
I picked up this geocoin from a cache at Camp Ben Hawkins in Central Ga. where I was a summer camp staff member in 1976. I would like this coin to travel to Philmont scout ranch. Philmont was always one of those places that I wanted to see when I was a scout. The goal is to get a picture of this coin in front of the Philmont Museum, with the sign on the building in the background. Hopefully this coin will hit as many scout related caches as possible on its way back to central Ga. UPDATE: 9-22-14 mission accomplished.
New Goal: Return this coin to its starting point. GC314T5. Scouting in Central Ga:Camp Benjamin Hawkins cache , along Boy Scout road here in central Ga.
